We jerked that standard set up out of his hand and replaced it with a rig spooled with Suffix 2O/6. He immediately started catching them...first cast if I remember right.

Best presentation was little 3 & 4 " hops near the bottom...then you'd feel a soft 'tick' if you paid close attention. These fish were not feeding as both their stomachs and even intestines were empty...have been for days. There just in here.
